Carlee's Whale

the other day, we were all in the living room. I was reading on the couch, Tony was taking a nap on the other couch, and Carlee was on the floor drawing on my eraser board. Out of nowhere, Carlee wanted me to hold the board so she could erase, so I did. She began drawing and I kept reading, and then she said, "Mommy look! Look at my whale!"

"Mmhhum.." I said before even looking down. I marked my page and looked down and saw this:" Wow!" I said. I couldn't believe she drew this. lol. I made her immediately go and wake up Tony to show him while I grabbed the camera. hehe. The outline was surely by chance, but it was really cool that she turned it into what she thought it looked like. :)

at the BBQ

Carlee loved playing with this dump truck while we were at a BBQ today. She kept filling it with rocks and driving it to another location to take them out. It was too cute, we might have to get her one of these. :)

wildflower

Played around with the camera today... Don't think there's much difference between my shutter priority and aperture priority presets on the camera. :( Not that I can tell anyway, and I should be able to tell a difference. My 18-55 lens broke :( so now all I can use is my super in your face 55-200 which is why Carlee's head is chopped off at the top. lol... I never get far enough back in time with this lens. Anyway, here's one of Carlee with a wildflower from the yard.

*edit* I figured out the setting! :D Can't wait to play with it tomorrow!

The "Horse"

This is the culprit "horse" from the post in my blog about our day in Ramacca. She loves it though, and she is definitely cracking me up tonight. She's been riding it to "the store" to get more pancakes, salt, and pepper to cook for us. Yummy! and Nice Ride Carlee! :)

Mr Potato Head

with 3 ears and lips for a hat!
Carlee always waits until we're ready to donate certain things before playing with them. Mr. Potato Head was spared today becasue of Carlee's new spark of interest. :)

Does something look a tad bit tiny?

I laughed so hard when Carlee decided to wear this bib for breakfast. It looked so tiny on her! This was on 3/31.

My Biggest Accomplishment

My daughter is polite.
:)

yesterday at the hospital the nurse held the door open for us, and Carlee turned around and said, "Thankyou." The nurse gushed on about how polite she was, and I was so proud. :)

Let's just hope she stays that way through the many years to come, lol.
:D
